Release Note: Workspace messaging

Your Workspace can now send email messages to anyone with a Workspace account! Those messages are tied to the item that they pertain to for quick and easy access to key communications.
The Notes tab is now re-named to Messages. Messages (both sent and received) are automatically displayed on the tab. Notes stay attached to the particular item and are also captured automatically in the item’s Activity Log.
Messages can be generated from the Workspace and sent to any recipient’s email who has an account in the Workspace. This includes those with Admin, Full, and Limited user accounts in a Workspace. Simply click +Send a new message and then +Add Recipient to select the recipient(s).
This opens up a message box where you can type in the message to send.
Click the green Send button and an email will be sent to the selected recipient. The email (example shown below) contains the message content and a hyperlink to take the recipient to the Messages tab of the pertinent item (in this case, the 1978 Diablo Con Rod Bolts).
Once the message has been sent it is displayed in the Messages tab with newest up top. Recipients can click on the arrow icon next to the message sent to them to reply and have the response displayed.
This is the first in a series of powerful features to make communicating and collaborating around projects and work-in-progress easier, more accessible, and streamlined.
By tying communications to the work they pertain to, the Workspace helps prevent delays and waste due to poor and/or siloed communication.
